Why cant america make there own stuff? why importing all these things in the country from the chinese---and now with all the lead and other stuff found in children toys coming in the country i cant help but wonder if this is a deliberate plot by the chinese to have us in peril...what do you think? could this be a deliberate plot by the chinese.

america was working off the model/ idea that more higher end products would be the main stay of the new economy; one less based on manufacturing and high labor industry and more heavily based on modern technology. remember when bush said in his state of the union address a few years back that americans should go to school to prepare themselves for the changes to the economy? To complicate the matter 'globalization' and 'free trade' is making it easier for the chinese to sell their manufactured products all over the world.

Yea i remember..it's funny how we lost out on manufacturing but have'nt gained anything on technology-----That man is such a frigging idiot...That's why the Chinese are taking over cause they'r still manufacturing....Im not really too much against free trade if it comes with enviormental and labour regulations---What do you think about free trade vs fair trade?---And do you think all those leads and stuff coming over here from the Chinese could be a deliberate plot?
